Ghassan, also known as Gus, is Real Estate Broker at John L Scott and own small moving company. Gus has been serving his clients in Real Estate since 1997. His previous experience was as a small business owner. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Gus immigrated to the United States in 1978. Gus is a community leader who is passionate about helping others. He is a current and past board member in several community organizations such as Clothes for Kids and AACC (Civil Rights Organization). Gus is a St. Jude doner since 1984 where he delivers food to homeless, shelters and seniors for free.

Since mid August, Ghassan and his team fed over 500 Lebanese families where they delivered $100 each of the to 250 families, and $50 to other 100 families. Ghassan will continue doing this as long as he can. Currently, the fund is going from his own pocket.

Ghassan and his effort has helped:

  • 200 families received $100 each
  • 20 families in Tripoli received $50 each,
  • Five families received $100 each in Rashaia
  • 20 families in the West received $100 each
  • $500 to Al Roum Hospital, Beirut, Lebanon
  • $2000 to the Arab Institute one thousand from it to families,
  • $1000 for the school to repair damage caused by the blast,
  • $500 to buy school supplies for children
  • 80 boxes of food to two villages around Saida

  • $1200 to distribute to another 100 families in mid October,

  • $250 paid for three months of rent to family with the house damage by the explosion, and without work.
  • $250 to Mrs. Cathy Chami, a leader on the environmental issues to give them to 5 widows,
